Vacancy Short Description : Holiday Inn in Reading is looking for a Bar and Waiting Apprentice. We are looking for enthusiastic individual to start an apprenticeship to gain a Level 2 Food and Beverage apprenticeship.

Vacancy Full Description : Our hotel is located near Wokingham, Reading and Bracknell which is ideal if you are visiting the local area. Winnersh Triangle train station is only 1 minute from hotel over a landscaped foot bridge, providing easy access to London Paddington in 20-minutes from Reading Central. It is located within a five minute drive from Thames Valley and Suttons Business Parks, and within easy reach of Legoland Windsor, Henley, Ascot Racecourse, the historical Windsor Castle, Thorpe Park and London Heathrow Airport.
You will be working within the hotel, we offer a range of great features including our 2 AA Rosette Caprice Restaurant serving exceptional modern British cuisine and Terrace for out-door al fresco dining. Also in Monty's Lounge Bar serving great cocktail or extensive authentic Indian.
Responsibilities included in this role:

Other Information : The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.70 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £5.90 an hour for 18-20 year olds, £7.38 for anyone aged 21 to 24 and £7.83 for those over 25. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
