Vacancy Short Description : The Bell Hotel is looking for an enthusiastic and full time Kitchen Apprentice! You must be able to work weekends and evenings. This is a great opportunity to be studying towards and gain a Level 2 Food Production Apprenticeship.

The Bell Hotel is very proud of its historic trading history in the beautiful town of Clare, gateway to all that wonderful Suffolk has to offer. We are currently renovating the trade areas during August 2018, but are open for business as usual for guest rooms and promise to minimise disruption while we improve facilities for you.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Work in any area of the kitchen as requested.
• Carry out food preparation in any area - as requested.
• Ensure that all work areas are keep clean, tidy and rubbish free at all times.
• Use equipment as shown, safely and in accordance with health and safety procedures.
• To comply with statutory & company regulations relating to health and safety, hygiene, conduct fire procedures and security.
Number of Positions Available : 1
Working Week : 30 hours per week including Evenings and Weekends
Weekly Wage : £180.00

Other Information : You will be paid £6 per hour. The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.70 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £4.20 an hour for under 18's, £5.90 an hour for 18-20 year olds, £7.38 for anyone aged 21 to 24 and £7.83 for those over 25. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
