Sanctuary Students manages accommodation for over 11,500 students across England and Scotland. We work in partnership with universities to provide cost-effective facilities management and support services, as well as providing specifically designed and purpose built accommodation direct to students across the UK. We offer a range of accommodation from shared flats to self-contained apartments in some of the biggest university towns and cities in the UK, including London, Manchester, Liverpool and Glasgow.

In partnership with our training provider - Lifetime Training - we are initially offering a 1 year Apprenticeship in Business and Administration. On this scheme, you will become a valued member of the property management team within Sanctuary Students, a leading nationwide student accommodation provider.
As Business and Administration Apprentice you will join the Accommodation Site team in Dinwiddy House, London. The team is responsible for looking after the residents and the building to ensure residents are in a secure and welcoming environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to start their career and gain valuable experience in a fast growing company.
Qualifications Required : A minimum of 2 GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English
Vacancy Full Description : The role of Apprentice will include:
•Working closely with the Assistant Manager and Receptionist to handle all student resident queries in a timely manner
•Ensuring effective communication and high quality customer service over the phone, email and face-to-face
•Carrying out quality checks around the site to ensure a high standard is kept at all times
•Assisting the receptionist with payments
•Following up on maintenance works that are carried out to ensure they are completed to meet standards
Number of Positions Available : 1
Working Week : Monday to Friday, weekly shift patterns between 9am to 5pm
Weekly Wage : £182.00

Other Information : The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.90 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £6.15 an hour for 18-20 year olds, £7.70 for anyone aged 21 to 24 and £8.21 for those over 25. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week). These rates apply from 1st April 2019.
