Vacancy Short Description : Crook Log Leisure Centre are looking for an Admin apprentice to work towards their Business Administration L2. You will be Primarily based at Crook Log Leisure Centre, but will spend some days at Erith and Sidcup Leisure Centre.

Your main activities and responsibilities will include:
•providing efficient administration, supporting teams, meetings and groups
•providing an efficient and customer focused first point of contact
•handling queries and distributing to colleagues as appropriate
•administering business processes and procedures
•placing orders for supplies and services and maintain stock levels
•handling petty cash
•providing cover for team members
•maintaining office records and filing systems, including electronic systems

Your day to day responsibilities will include:
- Delivery of professional; customer service, exceeding customer expectations
- Providing first point of contact for existing clients and new enquiries
- Invoicing customers and debt collection of unpaid invoices
- Responding to phone and email enquiries/providing requested information
- Preparing quotations for hirers
- Greeting members
- Answering the phone
- Responding to email queries
- Taking payments
- General admin duties
- Be the point of contact for the management team.
Number of Positions Available : 1
Working Week : 32 Hours Per Week Inc. Evenings and Weekends
Weekly Wage : £160.00

Other Information : The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.90 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £6.15 an hour for 18-20 year olds, £7.70 for anyone aged 21 to 24 and £8.21 for those over 25. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week). These rates apply from 1st April 2019.
